The Shimano SLX A is a compact, lightweight baitcasting reel built around Shimano's Hagane Body for added rigidity and impact resistance, so more of your cranking power goes into the fight instead of flexing the frame.
Key Features
Super Free Spool (SFS) reduces friction on the spool shaft for longer casts and smoother operation, while Shimano Stable Spool Design (S3D) uses a balanced, thin-wall aluminum spool to cut down on vibration. SVS Infinity brakes give you an external knob for quick, on-the-fly adjustments, and SilentTune reduces spool vibration for a quieter, smoother cast.
Available in a 6.3:1 gear ratio for slower, more powerful presentations and an 8.2:1 XG option for fast retrieves.
