Victron's SuperPack 100AH lithium-ion (LiFePO4) battery is designed as a replacement for many 12V and 24V marine, automotive, caravan, motorhome, and work van battery applications. Unlike Victron's other lithium batteries, the SuperPack keeps everything in one package with an integrated BMS and safety switch built in, so no additional components are needed for that protection.
The internal switch disconnects the battery automatically in case of over-discharge, over-charge, or high temperature. SuperPack batteries can be connected in parallel, but series connection is not supported, and they must be used in an upright position only.
These batteries are rated for 2,500 cycles to 80% depth of discharge at 25°C. Round-trip energy efficiency is around 92%, compared to roughly 80% for a typical lead-acid battery, and the SuperPack maintains strong efficiency even under shallow discharge conditions.
Lithium batteries require additional components during installation for the system to operate properly, and professional installation is recommended to help avoid non-warranty failures.
