The Hawken Simon Hot Tails 2-Pack is a compact trolling lure designed to imitate a crippled baitfish and trigger reaction strikes from salmon, steelhead, kokanee, sockeye, coho, chinook, walleye, and more. At just over an inch long, each buoyant Hot Tail spins easily inline to create a tight, wounded-bait roll that performs even at very slow trolling speeds. Available in multiple fish-catching color patterns, these lures are built for versatile freshwater and saltwater trolling setups.

Simon Hot Tails are designed to be fished with bait but can also be run without bait behind an attractor with excellent results. For best action and bait clearance, stack at least two 4 mm beads behind the lure, adding more as needed. For super-slow trolling speeds, use a 3 mm bead closest to the lure followed by 4 mm beads.
