The Echo Bravo 7/9 Fly Reel - Black is a saltwater-ready fly reel built for anglers who need dependable drag performance, fast line pickup, and easy maintenance without unnecessary complexity. Designed for 7 to 9 weight fly rods, this Echo reel is a strong fit for bonefish, redfish, snook, light tarpon, salmon, and big-water steelhead.
Echo designed the Bravo with low startup inertia, an instantly engaged roller clutch bearing system, and audible incoming and outgoing clicks, giving anglers better control when fish surge or change direction. The extra-large arbor and generous backing capacity make it well suited for flats fishing, coastal species, and hard-pulling freshwater fish.
The 7/9 size features a 4.25-inch diameter, 1.25-inch width, 8.5-ounce reel weight, and capacity for WF8 line plus 200 yards of 20 lb backing.
