Victron Energy Centaur Charger 12/60(3) 120-240V
The Centaur battery charger is a range that can be used anywhere, thanks to its wide supply voltage range from 90V to 265V - AC in 50/60 Hz. It is able to supply its nominal power on different grids without the need for any adjustments.
The latest technology in this charger still makes it easy to use, robust and economical. It has been dimensioned to withstand hot, humid and corrosive environments (salt air). Equipped with a temperature sensor, the charger will automatically adapt its output power in case of high heat (avoiding overheating).
The Centaur charger has 3 isolated outputs, each of which can produce the nominal power.
Charging a battery takes place in 3 steps, first a constant current charge until the nominal voltage of the battery is reached, then a charge with a constant voltage for 4 hours and finally the charger switches to float mode.
The charger can adapt to different typical battery voltages (lead-acid, gel, AGM).
