Short Stand Filler, Quart/862 g.
3M Marine High Strength Repair Filler is a uniquely modified vinyl ester structural filler formulated with short strand fiberglass for non-fairing applications. The fiberglass fibers interlock to give our filler additional strength compared to regular fillers. Filler is non-staining, non-shrinking and it comes with 3M Marine Creme Hardener.
  • Filler restores damaged fiberglass hulls and decks on boats
  • Short strands of fiberglass reinforce strength of filler
  • Paste consistency allows application of vertical surfaces
  • Non-staining and non-shrinking formula

★★★★★ 5 Stars Montauk Hull Solid Again

★★★★★ 5 Stars – Montauk Hull Solid Again

Used 3M High Strength Marine Repair Putty on hull damage on my 1988 Boston Whaler Montauk and it performed exactly as I hoped. It bonded extremely well to the fiberglass, filled the gouges cleanly, didn’t sag, and cured rock solid.

It’s definitely hard to sand — but that tells you how tough it is. I expect it’ll be just as hard to damage again. The repair feels structural and confidence-inspiring. Boat is buttoned up and ready for the summer fishing season. Highly recommend.
