I like this plug much more than the twist lock style. Easier to use and it doesn’t disengage like the twist lock did. Hopefully more durable also. Time will tell

Nice balance and match with my TYEE reel. Sensitive to detect light bites, but loads up progressively for head shakes and aggressive runs with plenty of backbone to bring the fish in. First impressions very good.

Great hooks. Stronger than some others. Good fit for our larger fenders. The price was typical for those hooks but seems a bit high for what they are. However we are glad Harbour Chandler carries them.

Nice reel. A little heavy, but it works well. Found zero creep with it. Good sized handle on it.. easy to find when taking the rod from the holder. Drag works well on big springs..smooth start up.
I use this flasher all salmon season. It is the best.
The glow is awesome and lasts a long time. Love the pattern.
The rack and hardware are of good quality and the units are strong. It was easy to install and it is great to have our kayak off the deck!

I tried these coho killers on the recommendation of my friend Peter King. Says he fishes one of these gold nuggets on one side of his boat every time. His confidence in this lure was quite convincing much like his confidence displayed while telling me about the swimming records he held at the south kitsap high school pool. Which upon fact check I found no evidence of any such records. Anyway I digress; this pattern has become my confidence lures for summer chinook in the puget sound this year.
It will be put to good use when I can get out in my canoe for trout fishing
