500 / Right Hand
I am using this reel to troll for lake trout. I have an older version of the same real that has held up beautifully over the years. This new Tekota 500 is very smooth, has a great drag and has a very sleek profile.
Lots of bubbles in the finish. It's like Oki doesn't care when they are putting these together. $22 for a chunk of bent plastic and they can't even put the decal on with care.
Works well when Chinook and Coho are feeding on immature herring.
This lure works very well. Used some last year with success.
Looks fine. I'll soon know if it will catch Chinook.
