The Harbour Chandler is proud to share that we have been named a Finalist in the 24th Annual Vancouver Island Business Excellence Awards.
Out of 455 nominated businesses from across Vancouver Island, 128 organizations were selected as Finalists for 2026. Winners will be announced at the awards gala held at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre on February 19.
Organized by the Business Examiner News Group, the Business Excellence Awards recognize organizations that demonstrate leadership, innovation, community impact, and long-term success. Finalists are reviewed by a panel of independent business leaders and judges from across British Columbia.
For us, this recognition means something very personal.
As a Nanaimo-based marine and fishing retailer serving Vancouver Island since 1968, The Harbour Chandler has grown alongside the coastal communities we support. From commercial marine operations to local anglers, boaters, and families preparing for time on the water, our mission has always been simple: provide reliable equipment, trusted advice, and genuine service.
Over the past year, we have focused on strengthening our online presence, expanding product availability, improving customer experience, and continuing to invest in local partnerships throughout Vancouver Island. Being recognized among so many respected Island businesses is an honour for our entire team.
