Job Opportunity: Full-Time Bookkeeper
Location: Nanaimo, BC
Starting Wage: $35.00/hr
The Harbour Chandler Ltd is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a degree in accounting to join our finance team. Proficiency in Sage Accounting and expertise in multi-entity bookkeeping are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger

Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations

Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and journal entries

Support audits, tax filings, and government regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
-
Degree in Business & Admin (Accounting major)

5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience

Strong Sage Accounting skills
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
-
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
